Significant exploration potential in the Pallancata district

The 100%-owned Pallancata property is approximately 160 kilometres from the former Arcata operation. Pallancata commenced production in 2007 with ore from the mine being transported 22 kilometres to the Selene plant for processing.

Pallancata is a low-to-intermediate sulphidation precious metal epithermal vein deposit and is mined using the cut and fill and long hole stoping methods. Since commissioning, we have found several new veins beyond the original Pallancata vein and we have promising drill targets which may extend the mine life for many more years to come. For example, in 2022, the brownfield exploration team made a significant discovery close to Pallancata, within the Royropata zone. Production from Royropata is expected to commence in 2027.
